TIBOR NYILASI retrospective: a full-gallery exhibition highlighting the breadth of Nyilasi’s art produced over six decades in Canada after fleeing Hungary in 1956. Staunchly rooted in the academic tradition, the exhibition will include mosaic work, paintings, and drawings of dancers, musicians, and ordinary people in coffee shops and bus lines. Nyilasi’s work was featured in one of the first exhibitions at Glenhyrst Art Gallery. An artist’s walk&talk about will be scheduled.
