Crisis by the Sea
Inspired by his late winter visit to Nova Scotia, Nyilasi captures the colours of a stormy maritime environment. The members of a community stare out at the sea at an unknown disaster, discuss it, or run to get help. This large oil painting shows Nyilasi’s skill at portraying groups of figures with natural informality.
