Description: This diptych shows the creative process of the artist. First, Nyilasi sketched two women in a cafe having an animated discussion at an adjoining table. Later, in his studio, he used the sketch and his recall of the environment to create a delightful, realistic egg tempera painting, using the same scale as the original drawing.
